FMCG Field Sales Executive - Bengaluru Region (Immediate Hiring)

About us:  We, NUTNDIET LLP, are a business founded in 2017, in Bengaluru India. Currently we are selling Coconut Oil, other Cold Press Oils and Cashews, under our own “nutndiet” brand on Amazon and Flipkart. You may refer our products at www.nutndiet.com.  Currently we are building our offline presence and putting in place a distributor network in Bangalore. In this context we are looking for motivated Sales Executives to place our products on the shelves of retail stores all across Bangalore.

Here are the key responsibilities the person will have to handle:

  1. Expand our retail channel in Bangalore region
  2. Make area-wise store visit plan and cover different kinds of stores (Super markets, Kirana, Bakery, etc) in a given area.
  3. Work in a goal driven manner to place our products on maximum retail shelves
  4. Pitch our products to retailers to get first order
  5. Subsequent follow-up for repeat orders and ensuring stock
  6. Commercial negotiation based on price list
  7. Coordinating with Distributor to ensure orders are being delivered promptly
  8. Gather market intelligence about competing brands/products, margin expectations of retailers, potential leads for expanding distribution network etc.

Skills Requirements:

  • Good in communication, ability to persuade retailers to get 1st
  • Go getter – to take up sales goals and do both Hard work and Smart work to achieve those.
  • Commonsense understanding of Business; ability to negotiate and talk reason with shop keepers
  • Basic working fluency with Excel spreadsheets to keep track of leads and sales.
  • Language Fluency needed –Kannada, English, and Hindi (to some extent)
  • Quick learner –Should be able to take guidance where needed and quickly learn new things. Asking once or twice is Ok, 3rd time onwards should be able to do it without seeking guidance.
  • Autonomous / Independent Worker – Should be able to execute the action plan, without daily monitoring/follow-up.
  • Daily travel for store visits; should cover different sales lines of Bangalore, as per pre-agreed route plan
  • Should know how to ride a two wheeler; bring own vehicle to work (suitable payment will be done for the fuel).
  • Experience – Maximum 1-2 years. Freshers Ok.
  • Education – Flexible on Educational Qualifications, as long as desired soft-skills are demonstrated.

  • Remuneration will be competitive for the skill level you bring. Salary plus expenses for travel.
  • Work 6 days a week; mandatory store visits every day.
  • Report to work at Distributor’s office at no later than 9:30am
